2.3.2 Annually host and/or participate in at least one community event, symposium, or forum to increase awareness and understanding of the local government’s mission, vision, and values.
In the first half of 2025 the Government Relations Department and the Office of the CAO in collaboration with other key staff planned for the first Bruce County Municipal Forum, July 10, 2025.
In Q2, the investment in local communities' report was completed and presented to council. The 2nd annual municipal forum was held in Saugeen Shores with approximately 50 individuals in attendance. This action is now completed with a community event hosted each year of the strategic plan.
In Q3 a "What we Heard" report will be created for presentation to Council and sharing with the participants of the Forum.
