5.3.5 Add additional EDI resources by the end of 2026.
The strategic plan committed to providing additional EDI resources by the end of 2026. This will continue to be a work in progress with continual improvement expected through to 2026.
To date we have:
- became an employer partner of the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI)
- Made a commitment to the development of a two-year EDI Strategic Action Plan for 2026-2027
Q2 - 2026: EDI Action Plan was endorsed by Council on April 2, 2026 with this task now being marked as complete. Work on the action plan will continue over the course of 2026-2028.
EDI Strategic Action Plan will be implemented throughout 2026-2028.
